Student and Postdoc Directory
Where are they now?
Since 1967, CIRES faculty have supervised hundreds of students who are now in environmental science and research positions around the world. CIRES graduate students, based in the home department of their CIRES advisors, enjoy added benefits of affiliation with our institution, including training in communications, engagement with NOAA, and some financial support opportunities.
CIRES postdocs work with scientists from a variety of departments and laboratories, obtaining advanced preparation for careers leading interdisciplinary teams. Some internal funding opportunities are available, but most postdocs pursue external from NSF, NOAA, NASA, and others. Prospective postdocs should contact CIRES Fellows to explore collaboration potential.
